About JantaScope
Last updated: July 16, 2026
JantaScope is a digital-first news publication reporting on India and the world. We publish in English at jantascope.com and through our mobile applications, covering national and international affairs, business, technology, sports, science, and everyday life.
This page explains who runs JantaScope, what we cover, the standards we hold ourselves to, and how to reach us.
1. Who We Are
JantaScope is a digital newsroom operated by Keyzen, based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. We were built around a simple idea: most people do not have time to wade through noise to understand what actually happened. Our job is to report the facts clearly, add the context needed to make sense of them, and be honest about what is still unknown.
Our team includes reporters and editors who cover assigned beats, supported by agency reporting where we credit the originating agency. Where an author profile is available, readers can open it from the byline on any article.
2. Our Mission
To help readers stay informed without information overload — delivering timely updates, clear context, and reporting that can be traced back to its sources. We aim to be useful on the day a story breaks and still accurate when it is read a year later.
3. What We Cover
- News — National and world developments, politics, and policy.
- Sports — Cricket, football, and major domestic and international events.
- Business — Markets, companies, the economy, and personal finance news.
- Technology — Products, startups, AI, and digital policy.
- Science — Research, space, environment, and public health developments.
- Live — Active breaking stories as they develop.
- Audio — Listen to selected reports.
- Video — Video reports and visual explainers.
- Jobs — Government and public-sector job notifications.
- Polls — Reader polls with live results.
- Games — Word Puzzle, Sudoku, and daily puzzles.
4. Our Editorial Standards
Our published standards explain exactly how we work, and we expect to be held to them:
- Editorial Policy — accuracy, impartiality, sourcing, separation of news from opinion and advertising, AI use, and conflicts of interest.
- Fact-Checking Policy — our pre-publication checklist, how we weigh evidence, and how we verify images and viral claims.
- Corrections Policy — how to report an error, our response times, and how to escalate a complaint.
In short: we verify before we publish, we attribute our sources, we label opinion and sponsored content, and we correct mistakes openly.
5. Authors, Bylines, and Dates
Every article carries a byline identifying the reporter or newsroom desk responsible for it, along with the date it was published. Where an author profile exists, the byline links to a public page showing that author's name, role or designation, a short biography, and a contact route.
When an article is materially revised after publication, it shows an updated date and time. We do not change the update stamp unless the content itself changed, so readers can trust what the dates mean.
